The Math Description Engine (MDE) is the technology which MathTrax is built upon. The MDE can be used to build other math and science applications.
You can use the MDE technology to make your math and science content accessible to blind students.

MathTrax is a powerful math and science teaching tool that middle and high school students can use to graph equations, physics simulations or plot data files. The graphs have descriptions and sound so you can hear and read about the graph. Blind and low vision users can access visual math data and graph or experiment with equations and datasets.
Examples of Teaching with MathTrax:
MathTrax and the MDE serve many education segments such as secondary education, higher education, informal education, minority education and underserved groups such as blind, low-vision and ADD students.
